>windows crashed on me after a long long time .. and it was fun to see a message "ntsokrnl.exe not found " .. yups it actually felt good to see that message ! .. it took me back to my college days .. when almost every week we (me and my group of geeky friends) were crashing our windows installation and then rushing to each others house to get the one " bootable floppy disk" .. that was back when we were still on the good old windows 98SE ..
this time it was differnt .. win2k .. and there are no more "bootable floppy disks" around anymore .. i wonder if people are still using floppies ? cos i havent touched one in around 2-3 years now ..
well back to the prob .. one of the partitions didnt liked the way i was treating it .. so it stopped working .. and wasnt responding at all .. so had to get the hdd out .. and then mount it on a friends machine to get a backup of the data ! :) .. was good fun .. sitting at my friends house .. waiting for that dreadded format to finish and then see how many bad clusters do i have on the disk now :) ..
the reinstallation at home ended at 2am .. and then i took a 7am flight to banglore ! :) had a 6 hour long meeting .. came back to delhi .. and right now its almost 2am again ..
I'm loving it ! :)
