>yeah yeah .. another movie .. i saw it yesterday .. but two movie comments in one day !! .. thoda zyda ho jaata 😀 .. and i was thinking of somethign which will come later in this post…
now this is a pretty good movie … its abt relationships .. and music plays a pretty good part in it … this is what i read somewhere … “Rob gets ditched (yet again) by his current femalething. This catalysts a sordid self examinatory process about all his failed relationships. It’s centred around his record shop, and coloured by his two motley socially inadequate assistants.”
if u dont like msic .. then u might not understand a lot of things in it .. and u might not even like it .. and there are lot of “top 5’s” in the movie .. almost for everything they make a “top 5” list .. the movie starts with our hero reviews his top five worst breakups!!!.. some intersting quotes
Should I bolt every time I get that feeling in my gut when I meet someone new? Well, I’ve been listening to my gut since I was 14 years old, and frankly speaking, I’ve come to the conclusion that my guts have shit for brains.
What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music? !!!!
It would be nice to think that since I was 14, times have changed. Relationships have become more sophisticated. Females less cruel. Skins thicker. Instincts more developed. But there seems to be an element of that afternoon in everything that’s happened to me since. All my romantic stories are a scrambled version of that first one.
The making of a great compilation tape, like breaking up, is hard to do and takes ages longer than it might seem. You gotta kick off with a killer, to grab attention. Then you got to take it up a notch, but you don’t wanna blow your wad, so then you got to cool it off a notch. There are a lot of rules.
now this last quote was what got me thinkg 🙂 .. “compilations” ..i have a large number of cassettes that i made .. i think used to compile some really good ones .. and fym bhaaji says “u make good one side compilation .. but then i switch to the other side and u really screw it !! ” :)) .. well the reason for that is that i dont like to listen to just one kind of music for all the 90 mins .. so if its some love songs on one side .. why is it so bad if there is a very good collection of rock songs 😉 ..
